Appointment Policy and Agreement
Our goal is to provide quality dental care in a timely manner. In order to do so, we ask that patients adhere to our cancellation and no show policy. The policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of dental care.
Cancellation of Appointments
When you schedule your appointment, you are holding a space in our calendar that is no longer available to other patients. In order to be respectful to those patients, please call us as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time. For Monday appointments, cancellations must be made by noon the preceding Friday.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call us at 610-779-7237 during our business hours. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible. Text and email notifications are also acceptable.
Broken Appointments
A late cancellation is considered when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the patient $50.00 for a missed hygiene
appointment and $75.00 for a missed dentist appointment.
Repeated cancellations will result in same day appointments. In some cases, we will be unable to reschedule and will recommend seeking care at an office that is a better fit for the patient’s schedule.
Late Arrivals
Your appointment was scheduled to allow for enough time to provide the best service for you. Patients who arrive for their appointments more than 10 minutes late may have to be rescheduled. If you need to be rescheduled, you “may” be charged a fee of $50.00 for a hygiene appointment and $75.00 for a dentist appointment.
We strive to provide the best care possible to each patient, without rushing through treatment. We try our best to stay on schedule to eliminate waiting times as we feel our patient’s time is valuable. We can only do this if patients respect their appointment time as well.
Unconfirmed Appointments
We don’t want to be left wondering if you will be showing up for your appointment! We ask that all patients confirm their appointments when prompted from our communication system either by text message, email or phone call.
Unconfirmed appointments will be canceled. If the appointment remains “unconfirmed” 24 hours prior to the scheduled time, the appointment will be canceled and offered to one of the many other patients who are waiting for an opening.
Non-Compliance of Treatment
As licensed healthcare professionals, we use our professional knowledge to provide you with the highest quality treatment and standards of care. We will recommend treatment based on our clinical findings. We present treatment options, but other times there is only one option for your dental treatment plan. If you refuse to comply with our recommended treatment, we are unable to continue providing service to you.
